Stretch Therapy (ST) is a comprehensive system that includes stretching, fascial remodelling, strengthening, neural re-patterning, and relaxation. The goals are grace and ease, and this is experienced as enhanced awareness and elegance in movement.

About me

My name is Matt Perrett, I live in Jan Juc on the Surf Coast with my partner Ellise and 3-year-old daughter Mila.  I have been in business at the Form Strength & Mobility studio in Newtown since January 2017, previously offering Stretch Therapy classes in hired venues.

As director of Form Strength & Mobility, I have been humbled and excited to learn so much directly from being in practice with clients.  I relish opportunities to learn and also to share what I have learnt.  I bring a wealth of life and work experience to my practice.

Much of my learning has been with Kit Laughlin (Stretch Therapy) and Paul Chek (CHEK Institute) and more recently GMB (Gold Medal Bodies).

I am always interested in using a collaborative approach with clients, where I am in communication with the clients allied health practitioners and or G.P to get a greater picture of a client’s health needs, challengers and appropriate exercise prescription needs.

I see my practice as being part of a definite shift towards people accessing personalised exercise and movement practices that are inherently more balanced, holistic, safe and fun.
